PDCLaw Office
Data Privacy Act of 2012

Privacy notice

[DRAFT — to be reviewed, completed and approved by the attorney before launch.]

Who we are

PDC Law Office (Atty. Patricia Marie D. Castro) is the personal information controller for the information collected through this website. Data Protection Officer: [name], pdcastrolawoffice@gmail.com / 0906 405 3995.

What we collect

When you schedule a consultation: your name, email address, mobile number, the type of legal concern, a brief description you choose to give, the names of other parties involved, your payment reference number and receipt, and your appointment details. We ask you not to include sensitive details before the consultation.

Why we collect it

To schedule and hold your consultation, verify your payment, check for conflicts of interest, send you booking confirmations and reminders, and keep the records required of a law office. We process this information based on your consent, to take steps at your request before any engagement, and, where applicable, to establish or defend legal claims.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. It is stored and processed by service providers that run this website: cloud database and file storage (Supabase), website hosting (Vercel) and email delivery (Resend). These providers may store data on servers outside the Philippines, under agreements that require them to protect it.

How long we keep it

[Retention period — e.g. booking records for X years after the consultation; payment receipts for as long as required by tax rules.] After that, the information is permanently deleted.

How we protect it

The website uses encrypted connections. Only the attorney and authorised office staff can see booking details, and payment receipts are kept in private storage that is never publicly accessible.

Your rights

Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 you may ask to be informed about, access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to its processing, and ask for a copy in a portable format. You may also file a complaint with the National Privacy Commission (privacy.gov.ph). To exercise these rights, contact the office at pdcastrolawoffice@gmail.com / 0906 405 3995.
